Aurebesh Keys privacy policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

Summary

Aurebesh Keys does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. The app and keyboard have no accounts, advertising, analytics or tracking.

Keyboard input

The keyboard converts its visual keycaps to ordinary Latin text on the device. Key presses, surrounding text and swipe paths are not sent to RO Company or any third party.

Swipe recognition

Swipe recognition runs on the device using locally bundled model weights and the ExecuTorch runtime. The decoder uses model output and words supplied locally by iOS. No swipe path, candidate word or surrounding text is sent over a network. The model technology is visibly attributed in the app as Powered by FUTO Swipe; FUTO does not receive user data from the app.

Local learning and settings

The keyboard stores small word-selection, word-rejection and word-pair counters on the device to improve later swipe ranking. It also stores the chosen haptic strength and short verification values used to unlock the setting in the setup app. These values are not transmitted. Learned swipe choices can be reset from the app.

Optional Full Access

Full Access is not required for typing or swipe recognition. If enabled, Aurebesh Keys uses it only to provide haptic feedback, verify that haptics are available, and read the haptic-strength setting shared with the setup app. Although iOS also makes network access technically possible for a full-access keyboard, Aurebesh Keys does not use that capability and contains no network client.

Data retention and deletion

Settings and local learning remain on the device until the user resets learned swipe choices or removes the app. Because RO Company does not collect this data, there is no remote account or server record to access, export or delete.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy and its last-updated date will be revised before the changed version is released. A change that introduces data collection will also be reflected in App Store privacy disclosures.
